What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Line Associates TSBC position at DeLallo?
DeLallo is seeking dependable and motivated Production Line Associates to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at our baking facility in Bridgeville, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging finished products from the production line and ensuring the quality and safety of our goods.
Schedule:
- 6:00 am - 4:30 pm: Four 10-hour shifts a week: Weekends off & 1 rotating weekday off: weekends & overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Package finished products from a moving conveyor belt into appropriate containers.
- Place completed packages onto a secondary conveyor for further processing.
- Pack full packages into boxes and stack them neatly on pallets.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues immediately to the Line Lead or Operator.
- Notify supervision when packaging materials are running low.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area.
- Follow all safety and quality regulations to ensure food safety compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all products meet DeLallo quality standards and specifications.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Comply with Food Safety and Quality Standards at all times.
- Understand and adhere to Allergen Control, Food Defense, and HACCP policies.
- Report any food safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to a supervisor promptly.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your assigned area.
- Maintain effective communication and teamwork with coworkers and supervisors.
- Assist with equipment maintenance by reporting issues to maintenance personnel.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Follow all job-specific work instructions provided by supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Keep equipment and workspaces clean and sanitized.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and utilize all safety devices.
- Report any unsafe practices or injuries immediately to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Must be available to work 5 to 6-day work weeks and must be able to work extended hours as needed.
- Successfully complete drug screening, physical and background check requirements.
