JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a part- time Cashier who takes pride in making every guest’s experience satisfying. The ideal candidate will have customer service and cashiering experience in a fast-paced work environment and have a positive attitude.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Some of your duties may include:
- Greeting customers when entering and/or leaving the store
- Cross selling products and introducing new products
- Scanning items and making sure the price is accurate
- Learning to identify bakery items and ringing them correctly
- Collecting cash payments and making accurate change
- Processing credit or check payments
- Providing receipts
- Processing refunds
- Maintaining a clean work area and equipment
- Assisting with other duties as assigned
Schedule:
- You will typically work up to 5 days per week. You can expect to work additional days and/or hours during peak periods. This position requires weekend work. Our specialty Italian grocery store is open from 8am -6pm every day of the week.
You’ll need to be able to:

- Use basic PC knowledge
- Utilize good math skills
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Maintain a high level of organization with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Candidates must be 16 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
