What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician: Experienced Only position at Delafield Small Animal Hospital?
Veterinary technician wanted for a busy and fast-paced environment, small animal and exotic animal hospital that requires no weekends! Experience required, CVT is preferred. This is a compassionate, professional and friendly team centered environment that allows you to grow and use all of your skills while gaining new ones.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparing paperwork & samples for outside lab
- Holding patients and helping doctors with their appointments
- Blood draws
- Nail trims
- Expressing anal glands
- Drawing up vaccines
- Assisting in surgery, which includes monitoring patient while under anesthesia
- Assisting in dental procedure, which includes monitoring patient while under anesthesia
- Filling medication prescriptions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
