Del Sol Research is seeking an outgoing, organized, and motivated Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator to support our participant recruitment and community outreach efforts. This position plays an important role in connecting potential participants with clinical research opportunities while representing Del Sol Research at community events, health fairs, and educational outreach activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable communicating over the phone and in person, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, pre-screen, and schedule participants for clinical research studies through phone calls, online inquiries, referrals, and community outreach events.
- Represent Del Sol Research at community health fairs, educational presentations, and outreach activities.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from potential participants and referring healthcare offices.
- Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinators to ensure accurate participant documentation, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Enter and maintain participant information within recruitment and tracking systems.
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and supporting community outreach events.
- Maintain inventory and order outreach supplies, brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional materials.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and prospective participants.
- Support additional outreach and recruitment projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- One (1) year of healthcare, clinical research, outreach, recruitment, customer service, or related experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Computer proficiency with data entry and participant tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Professional, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with participants both in person and over the phone.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends required to support community outreach events.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tucson, Arizona. Relocation assistance is not provided.
