Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy turf.
- Maintain landscapes by planting, watering, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs with precision and care.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and excavators to perform landscaping tasks efficiently.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weed control, mulching, and soil preparation to promote plant health.
- Install and repair hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and irrigation systems to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
- Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for properties.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and maintenance.
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree care, pruning, mowing, and hardscape installation.
- Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus.
