We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Tax Advisor Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to provide expert tax planning, preparation, and advisory services. You will be responsible for identifying tax-saving opportunities, ensuring compliance with current tax laws, and guiding clients through complex tax-related decisions
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to individuals, small businesses, and corporations.
- Conducted detailed tax assessments and developed customized tax-saving strategies.
- Prepare and review tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, and trust).
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Assist clients with tax audits and IRS inquiries.
- Advise clients on tax implications of financial decisions and business operations.
- Work collaboratively with financial planners, accountants, and attorneys to deliver holistic solutions.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely filings.
Utilize tax software and financial tools to optimize tax planning strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- CPA, EA (Enrolled Agent), or other relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax advisory or tax preparation.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, IRS regulations, and tax-saving strategies.
- Experience with tax preparation software such as [e.g., Drake, UltraTax, Lacerte, or ProConnect].
