A. PURPOSE
In this role, the EHS Manager is responsible for creating a wide-ranging safety culture, risk assessments, audits/inspections, employee behavior, and modify programs to effectively control and minimize accidents and preserve the integrity of Del Real Foods employees. Effectively develop and implement safety programs, practices, and procedures that will reduce the frequency and severity of accidents in all working areas, auto and property liability. Ensures Del Real Foods complies with federal, state, and local regulations, which are designed to protect the human, financial, and physical assets of the company.
B. DUTIES
General Overall Duties (1-5 listed below)
1. Follows and enforces employee’s safety procedures
2. Follow, Monitor, and Enforce all food safety procedures
3. Follows and enforces SQF requirements (Facilities, Equipment, SSOP, SOP, GMP’s, and ETC)
4. Follows and enforces USDA & FDA guidelines and regulations.
5. Follow Company Policies, Regulations, and Lunch & Break Policies

Position Area Duties (1-4 listed below)
1. Safety
1. Coordinate and implement prevention programs and procedures to maintain the health and safety of all employees
2. Coordinate the full implementation of all Safety programs including but not limited to:
· IIPP, (Injury and Illness Prevention Program)
· Lock Out Tag Out
· Hearing Program
· Shoe Policy
· Equipment Hazard Analysis
· Forklifts
3. Responds and provides assistance to all emergencies.
4. Conduct incident investigations and complete all appropriate reports
5. Enforce and make the proper people accountable for all company rules and regulations and follow up with the proper enforcement procedures
6. Assure that all OSHA logs are properly Maintained
7. Monitor fire marshal inspections
2. Food Defense and Security
1. Manage and Enforce the Company Security Program
3. Environmental
1. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local legislation and codes
2. Environmental (Waste Water, Storm Water, CalARP, EPA Manifest Program, HAZMAT, etc.)
· Conducting, Monitoring and Enforce Waste Water Program
· Conducting, Monitoring and Enforce HAZMAT Business plan
· Coordinate and Enforce the SDS Program
· Coordinate, Monitoring and Enforce CALARP Ammonia Safety Regulations
· Coordinate, Monitoring and Enforce Storm Water Program
· Coordinate, Monitoring and Enforce EPA Manifest program
3. Manage third party audits and follow up with the proper corrective actions

Specific Skills and Abilities Required
1. Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Legislations.

C. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)
2. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
3. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
