Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide relevant information.
- Manage case files using Best Case, ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date.
- Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining client correspondence.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for cases, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining physical and electronic records.
- Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines and ensuring timely submission of filings.
Experience
- MINIMUM 8 YEARS OF CONSUMER BANKRUPTCY REQUIRED
- Familiarity with bankruptcy law is essential; experience in family law or estate planning is a plus.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and document preparation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent research abilities combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using project management tools to track progress on various cases is advantageous.
- A background in administrative support roles will be beneficial for this position.
