What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Representative position at Del Papa Distributing?
Full-time employees will make $17 per hour. Warehouse representatives will be asked to do several different jobs in the warehouse by using electric pallet jacks and forklifts. This position feeds the conveyor, builds stable pallets, puts up received product and returned product, replenishes our lanes with product. It is very physically demanding. Times of getting off work could vary during peak periods, the day ends when all of the work is complete. Must be able to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 lbs. or more on a repetitive basis during the work day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Qualifications:Essential Tasks:

Process customer orders on pallets.

Administers product rotation policy.

Process return loads.
Educational requirements:

High school degree or equivalent experience.

Core competencies in basic math.
Experiential and skill requirements:

Demonstrated customer service orientation.

Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
Physical / Sensory requirements:

Ability to operate a hand truck, six-wheel cart, electric pallet jack and lift jack.

Ability to visually inspect and read code dates on products.

Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead and 160 pounds to waist level.

Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.

Ability to pass O.S.H.A. forklift certification.
