Job Summary

The job of Paraprofessional III - Bilingual is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for providing translation of curriculum and assisting in the instruction and supervision of assigned children in a classroom setting. This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Paraprofessional III, provides instructional assistance and translation of materials in classrooms where activities can be carried out by an incumbent who meets requirements, namely the passing of a competency assessment in reading, writing, and mathematics and supplemental requirements. This job reports to Assigned Administrator/Manager

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicant is required to have two years of college (48) units, or an Associates degree or higher, or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills. Must be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in the required language. **Blank or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted*
