Job Summary

The job of Library Services Technician is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for performing clerical functions related to collection, processing, and circulation in a school library; and assisting students and staff in the library and/or computer lab. This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Library Technician represents the first level in a library support career ladder created for school sites. Library Technicians demonstrate the ability to perform circulation, restocking and organizing of library materials, and customer service. This job reports to Principal

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicant is required to have any combination equivalent to one year of formal education in Library Science, Education or a related area or one year of experience related to organization, research, or tech **Blank or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted**
