This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Behavior Intervention Technician provides specialized assistance to behavior staff, teachers, and therapists by creating a foundation for tutoring and assistance of students having exceptional behavior intervention and/or medical needs. The Behavior Intervention Technician has been specially trained and demonstrates competency in advanced behavior analysis. This job reports to Assigned Administrator/Manager
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant is required to have any combination of an Associate’s degree in early childhood development, psychology, speech pathology or equivalent discipline and one year of experience working with, in a classroom environment containing, students with special needs. Certificates and Licenses - Registered Behavior Technician Certification (requirement may be waived during probationary period)Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability **Blank or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted*
