As our business continues to expand, we are growing into the automotive accessories industry, offering wheels, tires, lift kits, lighting, tonneau covers, and other truck and automotive accessories.
We are currently building a new e-commerce platform dedicated to auto accessories and are looking for a skilled and reliable website developer to help bring this project to life.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Website Developer with strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories websites. The ideal candidate will help us build and maintain a professional, user-friendly e-commerce website capable of integrating vendor inventory feeds and APIs from multiple suppliers.
A major part of this project will involve developing a Year / Make / Model search filter that allows customers to easily find compatible accessories for their vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a modern e-commerce website for automotive accessories
- Integrate vendor API feeds and inventory data from multiple suppliers
- Create and optimize a Year / Make / Model vehicle fitment search system
- Ensure product compatibility and fitment accuracy
- Upload and organize product catalogs, images, pricing, and descriptions
- Optimize website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness
- Improve SEO and product discoverability
- Assist with future website updates and scalability
- Work closely with ownership to improve user experience and online sales
Qualifications
- Experience building e-commerce websites (WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify, or custom platforms)
- Experience integrating APIs and supplier inventory feeds
- Strong understanding of automotive accessories and vehicle fitment systems
- Experience with Year / Make / Model filtering functionality
- Knowledge of SEO and e-commerce best practices
- Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with automotive industry websites is highly preferred
