Purpose of Position:
Tricont Trucking Company, a proud member of the Del Monte Fresh, is now hiring Class A CDL Drivers for permanent, year-round, Full-Time positions in Kankakee, IL!
Our Drivers will be responsible for delivering our fresh produce to customers and designated facilities safely and on time, while helping us keep our roads safe and our reputation strong.Regional Positions – Driver home daily and deliver to surrounding areas which includes Olney, Sterling, Garrett, Gas City and Chicago.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and safety protocols.
- Accurately complete and maintain driver logs, trip reports, and inspection records.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and transported in accordance with DOT standards.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure on-time delivery of products are delivered with care to customers and/or facilities
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Class A CDL Driver License
- Experience driving in New York
- No more than 3 moving violations, convictions, or preventable accidents in the last 36 months
- Additional qualifications may apply
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to work in the United States and provide Employment Authorization Documents on First Day of Hire
- Must have 1-year experience in the type of vehicle they are applying for
Schedule & pay for Eddystone, PA location:
Start time: 10 pm-4am CST
5 Day work week. Tuesday- Saturday Alternate Mondays. (subject to change quarterly)
Touch freight
$500 Quarterly Safety Bonus
$24 hourly rate
