The salary range for this role is: $19.80 - $22.80 Responsibilities: The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing and keeping track of the inventory stored at Del Monte Foods – Plover, WI by ensuring storage and organization of inventory while conducting regular physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Report to and follow the directions of facility management Adheres to company safety and working rules Encourages all safety practices reporting safety concerns to management Follows safety procedures while operating equipment Performs other duties as assigned by management Assists in helping meet supply chain objectives Performs complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies routinely, systematically Ensures all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate, and filed correctly Identifies, studies, and addresses any gaps in inventory processes Physically assesses the inventory on the warehouse floor Identifies opportunities to improve inventory management Reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies Supports the warehouse supervisor/manager in maintaining the facility’s inventory up to date Supports the warehouse supervisor/manager in issues with inventory, damage, aged items cycle counts, etc. both physically and systematically Reports and assists to correct any physical inventory & systematic issues, errors, or discrepancies during reconciliation Serves as a forklift operator; maintain certification Perform daily data entry for M&S consumption process Del Monte Foods Key Behaviors: GET OUR HANDS DIRTY Dig in and understand the business. Qualifications: High School level verbal and written communication skills Forklift operating experience is highly preferred; certified training will occur on-site Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptionally organization and detail oriented Strong analytical thinking and computer knowledge Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Strong work ethic with proven ability to work with deadlines and commitment including occasional weekends Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of warehouse experience and knowledge in inventory control; forklift experience preferred but not required.
