The salary range for this role is: $38.65 - $38.65 Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Boiler Maintenance & Repair Roll and expand boiler tubes for maintenance purposes (not new construction). Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair boiler systems and components including burners, pumps, valves, and controls. Replace or repair steam and water valves throughout the plant as needed. Perform emergency repairs and respond to boiler-related issues during night call shifts. Water & Gas Analysis Conduct water analyses to monitor and maintain proper water chemistry for boiler operation. Perform stack gas analyses to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. Operate and maintain water softening and water treatment equipment to optimize boiler performance. Inventory & Supplies Requisition of boiler room parts, tools, and supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and part usage. Operational Oversight Responsible for work layout, general direction, and assignment of tasks within the boiler room. Ensure all boiler room operations comply with safety regulations and company standards. Additional Duties May be required to repair cannery or plant equipment as needed. Qualifications: Prefer at least 3 years of experience with repair or replacement of steam and water valves in a manufacturing plant Ability to climb ladders, squat/bend down, work in hot environments, Lift up to 75lbs, Stand for extended periods. Boiler operator license preferred. Ammonia/ refrigeration experience/license. Experience repairing cannery equipment is preferred.
