Del Monte Electric, a recognized "Best Places to Work" recipient by the San Francisco Business Times, is seeking a BIM Modeler with strong Revit construction and coordination skills to support our BIM team in developing high-quality electrical construction models. This role will work closely with BIM Managers, project managers, and field teams to produce accurate electrical models used for coordination, prefabrication, and construction documentation.

Qualifications
- 2–5 years of project-related Revit experience with the ability to create and modify content including views, sheets, and basic parametric families. Electrical experience in Revit is required.
- Experience working with an electrical contractor to provide shop drawings, prefab layouts, and conduit schedules.
- Experience modeling and coordinating electrical conduit systems, supports, lighting and equipment.
- Experience coordinating with structural drawings for hanger supports and seismic requirements.
- Experience with modeling low voltage systems, model cabling pathways, back boxes, and devices.
- Experience working with project teams and field staff to provide construction documentation in a timely manner.
- Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and coordination workflows.
- Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM360 for model sharing and coordination.
- Experience using Revizto for model posting and issue tracking is preferred.
- Experience using Evolve Electrical preferred.
- Experience using Bluebeam as a markup and coordination tool.
- Knowledge of electrical, lighting, and low voltage systems.
- Experience drafting and managing Revit models across multiple projects.
- Ability to follow project standards and BIM Execution Plans, which may vary from project to project.
- Experience working in IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) and/or Design-Build environments is preferred.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Roles and Responsibilities
- This position will work under the direct supervision of the Del Monte Electric BIM Manager.
- Work on-site in our Dublin office and/or on job site office 5 days a week.
- Develop and maintain construction and coordination models in Revit for electrical systems.
- Model conduit routing, cable tray, electrical equipment, lighting systems, and low voltage pathways.
- Assist in producing shop drawings, installation drawings, and prefab documentation.
- Create and manage Revit views, sheets, and documentation for project deliverables.
- Assist in creating and modifying Revit families and project content as required.
- Manage Revit backgrounds and linking in other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, plumbing, etc.).
- Assist BIM Manager with ACC/BIM360 postings, Revizto postings, and model coordination tasks.
- Participate in trade coordination meetings and clash detection processes using Navisworks and/or Revizto.
- Work with BIM Manager and project teams to resolve coordination conflicts and clashes.
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and other trade partners to ensure accurate and constructible models.
- Assist with prefabrication modeling and layout development.
- Review and follow Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) prior to initiating modeling efforts.
- Maintain model organization and standards in accordance with Del Monte Electric BIM practices.
- Support project teams by providing updated models, drawings, and coordination documentation as required.
