Projects range from municipal infrastructure designs (roads, roundabouts, and utilities), to commercial and residential subdivision planning, layout, and design, to high voltage transmission line and power substation layout and design, to stormwater modeling, permitting, and construction oversight. Work alongside an accomplished team of professionals with decades of experience and a remarkable history of success.As a Del-Mont Consultant project engineer you will have the opportunity to work on projects from the conceptual stage to final acceptance. Initial project work often includes augmenting our in-house field survey and drone crews to collect topographic and existing utility data. The design phase includes importing field data and working through Civil 3D design iterations which allow project engineers to collaborate with the entire Del-Mont design team to achieve the most optimal and cost-effective engineering solutions. Typical designs include roads, parking, water systems, wastewater, and drainage. QUALIFICATIONS:· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited). (Civil preferred).· Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.· Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.· Two years civil design experience (preferred).· Experience and familiarity with civil construction practices and techniques.· Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screening.· Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.· Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).· Curious and eager to learn with a knack for innovative problem solving.· Works and plays well with other professionals.
