Maintenance Technician

About the job:Support the property management team at Del Mar Vacations by ensuring our 350 homes are well cared for and maintained. The day-to-day varies and is never boring - you'll use a range of handyman, repair, and maintenance skills, sometimes on-the-fly, to solve issues for guests and homeowners. The variation in work means you'll constantly be learning and improving. Having a chance to work both independently, and with a team, you can gain experience learning from others and your own research. The scope includes everything from basic handyman repairs and standard annual maintenance items to larger projects and performing skilled work involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, furniture assembly, WiFi/cable troubleshooting, TV set up, and HVAC. You will also work to maintain company equipment, buildings, and grounds.About you:3 years of maintenance experienceKnowledge of basic operations, tools and terms used in building maintenance and repair workKnowledge of safe work practices and operation of a variety of hand and power tools.Confident and capable in problem solving various issues and researching the best solutions if necessaryGood written and verbal communication skillsA strong desire to problem solve and to ensure our homes are at their peak maintenanceComfort with technology and using multiple programsDriver's License requiredMust be open to working weekendsJob details: Full-time, part-time, seasonal openings Life at Del Mar:Del Mar Vacations is a Veteran-owned and operated, full-service vacation rental company on Cape Cod.
