Job Description Summary
Teach a minimum of a regular course load per regular semester that could include online courses and/or dual credit/early college classes.
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline. Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need.
Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction. Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes. Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s in Applied Science degree in Automotive.
Current Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in G1-Auto Maintenance and Light Repair and A6- Electrical/Electronics.
Five (5) years of work experience in the automotive field.

Current Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in G1-Auto Maintenance and Light Repair and A6- Electrical/Electronics.
Ten (10) years of work experience in the automotive field.
An action plan to complete an Associate’s degree within 36 months of employment.
Current Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in G1-Auto Maintenance and Light Repair and A6- Electrical/Electronics.
Five (5) years of work experience in the automotive field.

Current Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in G1-Auto Maintenance and Light Repair and A6- Electrical/Electronics.

Preferred Qualifications
Successful experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
Experience in teaching college level online courses and/or documented successful training in a college online learning management system (e.g. Blackboard, Canvas).
Master Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification.
