Job Description Summary
Instructors work on a contract/part-time basis to teach BLS courses (CPR/AED and First Aid training) under the American Heart Association curriculum. Instructors are responsible for facilitating video presentations, instructor lectures, skills demonstrations, testing students, answering questions, and completing post-course rosters/paperwork. Position may require traveling.
Minimum Qualifications
Certifications in related field and/or High School Diploma.
Minimum 5 years related work experience.
Must be an AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION INSTRUCTOR (BLS) – NOT AMERICAN RED CROSS.

Outstanding public speaking skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insurable by Del Mar College
