Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to facilitate and coordinate a wide variety of administrative and operational functions including data research and data analysis. This is accomplished by serving as one of the primary points of operational project contact in the Vice President and Chief Academic Officer (VP/CAO) Office. Supports College-wide initiatives as assigned by the VP/CAO. Schedules and coordinates the calendar for the VP/CAO. Provides project support to the Assistant to the VP/CAO and Associate Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness and Academics with the preparation, continuous support, and completion of projects as directed by the VP/CAO.
Works collaboratively and demonstrates a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with and among interactions with administrators, faculty, staff, colleagues, students, and the community. Works collectively with other staff and/or independently contingent on the assignment of a variety of tasks. Must be exceedingly well-organized in all the core elements of the position, flexible within a fast-paced environment, and receptive to learning all of the interconnected components of the VP/CAO Office’s operations. Must demonstrate the ability to execute operational plans and projects effectively and efficiently with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness. Must exhibit effective business etiquette when communicating verbally and in written form with precision with the office staff, internal institutional personnel, and the community.
Provides daily support to the VP/CAO and other office staff on all office projects and reports that include various responsibilities on special projects and daily operational tasks but not limited to research, data compilation, data analysis, and report completion that pertain to the VP/CAO Office’s operations assigned by the supervisors. Utilizes project management strategies to complete assignments which may include documents, reports, and presentations accurately and effectively. Conducts analysis of projects, supports virtual meeting technology, and prepares the outcomes of the projects to analyze deficiencies and to identify strategies to initiate corrective measures for operational optimization. Collects, organizes, and maintains all files and important documents related to special projects and office operations for historical reference and documentation purposes. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality in all areas of work.
Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of administrative/executive support/office operations experience

Monitors and alerts the VP/CAO of schedule conflicts or upcoming deadlines for internal and external reporting agencies.
