Job Description Summary
The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate services for the Texas Opportunity High School grant-funded initiative. This position is responsible for advising and supporting grant recipients enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs who have not yet obtained a high school diploma. The Program Manager will guide participants through the registration and enrollment processes for both CTE and high school diploma programs, while ensuring access to the necessary support resources that facilitate student achievement.
Key duties include the preparation and submission of all required reports to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), monitoring program budgets and expenditures, and performing additional grant-related responsibilities as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
One (1) year relevant experience.
OR
Associate degree.
Three (3) years relevant experience.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to assess student needs and connect them with appropriate resources and support services.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with student populations.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting for continuous improvement and accountability.
Ability to work collaboratively with academic faculty/staff, workforce partners, and community organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Two (2) years related experience in higher education.
