Job Description Summary
This is a temporary part-time summer position, grant funded.
The purpose of this position is to provide instructional and direct support to Corporate Services Department’s Code Camp and to assist the camp directors with all instructional and administrative requirements relevant to the development and delivery of camp. This includes, but not limited to; registration, tracking, reporting, and instructional support to campers funded by a grant.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
One (1) year experience working with students in a learning camp environment or two (2) years of education in a STEM related field
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to actively engage and be involved with students on a daily basis during grant period.
Ability to use good judgement when responding to emergency situations.
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, staff, parents, and public.
Ability to respond professionally and appropriately when dealing with students who may have special needs.
Customer service oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or member (past or present) of a STEM related club or organization.
Valid Part 107 sUAS License.
