Position Summary The Inventory Control Specialist – Spare Parts is responsible for controlling and maintaining spare parts inventory in support of manufacturing operations. This role ensures established inventory levels are maintained to achieve maximum operational effectiveness, accuracy, and availability of parts. This position is for our day shift: 7am - 3:30pm M-F Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including receiving, storage, tracking, and cycle counting.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately verify parts, quantities, documentation, and system entries to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Organization & Time Management: Effectively organizes inventory, prioritizes tasks, and manages time to meet operational needs.
- Computer & System Proficiency: Comfortable using inventory management systems, databases, and standard computer applications.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify inventory discrepancies, shortages, or errors and take appropriate corrective action.
- Safety Awareness: Follows OSHA and company safety procedures and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Communication Skills: Communicates clearly with supervisors, maintenance teams, and vendors regarding parts needs and issues.
- Vendor Interaction: Ability to work professionally with suppliers on pricing, delivery timelines, and order discrepancies.
- Independence & Initiative: Works effectively with minimal supervision and takes initiative to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Adaptability: Able to adjust priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to support operational demands.
