What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Coordinator position at Del Amo Gardens Care Center?
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Admissions Coordinator! We're a 94 bed skilled nursing facility located in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Duties Include:
Reviewing Inquiries
Insurance Verifications (Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMO Authorizations)
Provide Tours for prospective admissions
Welcome new admissions and provide great customer service
Ensure a smooth admissions process for new residents and families
Complete admission paperwork in PCC with the resident and/or responsible party
Follow up with Case Managers from Acute Hospitals and HMOs
Obtain Authorizations from HMO Case Managers
Complete New Admission Inventory
Assist Social Services with setting up meetings
other assigned tasks
Qualifications Include:
Skilled Nursing Facility experience a plus
Great Customer service skills
Great Communication skills
Great Organizational Skills
Able to work independently
Able to work with a team
Knowledge of PointClickCare EHR
Able to work a flexible schedule
Conversational Korean/English a plus
This positions primary schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
