What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist II, Network Liaison (Information and Instructional Technology) 2023-2024 position at DeKalb County School District?
- Provide first level technical support for network and related hardware and software issues for DCSD users; provides individualized training in BMC as required.
- Handles computer hardware and software issues for all DCSD end-users and provides specialized support of mobile devices (Chromebooks, iPads, laptops, etc.) via Mobile Device Management systems.
- Troubleshoots and configures various network software applications such as First Class, ESIS, IDMS, TERMS, Active Directory, Web Pay and AS400.
- Maintains SQL Database through BMC for problem and resolution history and updates all open call tickets daily.
- Configures hardware for wireless network access and provides mobile device assistance with the wireless network.
- Collaborates with other departments to clarify information and ensures the accuracy and security of data and files.
