Salary Range: $36,774- $59,129 FLSA Non-exempt
Purpose of Classification:
The purpose of this classification is to track, maintain, process and handle warehouse inventory.
Essential Functions:
The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Tracks materials, equipment, and supplies; assesses inventory levels and orders materials for the warehouse via departmental databases and systems; determines which system to create the requisition based on whether or not items requested have stock codes; and places orders.
Tracks inventory through cycle counts on a weekly basis; researches errors; and adjusts and documents the departmental system for auditing purposes.
Assists with counting physical inventory and enters quantities into departmental system; runs variance report to show possible discrepancies between the actual count and system count; and researches each item for which there is a discrepancy to determine the cause.
Contacts Accounts Payable department to reconcile any discrepancies regarding quantities or prices.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; two years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, inventory control, or customer service; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
