POSITION TITLE: Aide/Paraprofessional - Instructional and Special Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Highly Qualified Requirements
REPORTS TO:
- Principal or Principal designee and Special Education Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach students while the teacher works with special groups.
- Assist teacher in general duties (i.e., duplicating, giving make-up tests).
- Provide assistance in standardized test preparation.
- Accompany students to the library and computer lab.
- Must lift, bent, squat as assignment may require.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the principals or Supervisor of Special Education.
- Maintain the confidentiality of student records.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule.
EVALUATION:
- Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
