Software System Test Engineer

DEKA Research & Development, located in Manchester, NH, is looking for a highly motivated Software System Test Engineer to join a software team working on medical devices. How you will make an impact:

• Develop comprehensive user expertise with assigned applications and system components
• Perform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing of Android based systems
• Validate application behavior across various use cases and scenarios
• Automate manual system tests and aggregate results and data
• Solve problems, debug issues
• Collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver effective solutions
  
  

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or other Engineering degree with Software Engineering experience
• 1 years of experience with the following:
• Writing software test procedures from software requirements
• Implementing automated software integration tests from those procedures
• Technical writing
• Kotlin and Python 3.*
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances and technology
• Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated evidence of individually solving a challenging technical problem
• Passion for a job well-done and an intrinsic interest in how things work
  
  

The following experience/skills are a bonus:

• Batch script creation/usage for automation of tests
• Surround and/or Gitlab source code management tools
• Jenkins
