DEKA Research and Development, housed in Manchester, NH, has an amazing opportunity for a passionate Controls Engineer. While collaborating within their team, engineers will:Develop and maintain control systems for innovative medical and robotic products; write software on a ROS operating system; and write software in C for vision systems and for navigation and planning.Develop and design new prototype devices using software robotic operating system; use system design and integration as well as linear (PID Controllers)/non-linear control system design techniques.Design systems using mechanical, electrical design and software development skills; and model systems using Python programming language.Develop medical devices according to FDA design practices.Perform failure mode analysis on control systems.Requirements:The minimum educational requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering and two years of experience in any suitable occupation related to Control Engineering. Experience within both the Electrical and Mechanical disciplines is required.
