We maintain a structured, professional workplace culture grounded in communication, discipline, quality craftsmanship, and accountability.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Finish Carpenter / Residential Remodeler to join our New York operations. While the current opening supports an active project in Brooklyn, NY, this role may involve work across all five boroughs as our NYC portfolio expands.This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional finish carpentry ability—high-end flooring, moldings, custom trim, specialty finishes, bathroom renovations, kitchen renovations, and detailed interior work. In addition to field responsibilities, this individual may also wear multiple hats and support the NYC division by conducting site visits, meeting clients, and assisting with estimates for residential remodeling projects.This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays based on project needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-end finish carpentry including flooring installation, moldings, casings, trim, architectural millwork, and built-ins.Execute bathroom and kitchen renovation tasks with precision, including layout, fixture prep, subfloor work, wall prep, and finishes.Install cabinetry, closets, shelving, and custom components to luxury standards.Assist in job site mobilization: materials pickup, deliveries, staging, tool setup, and general site preparation.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, especially within high-end residential environments.Conduct residential site visits to evaluate project needs, document conditions, and support estimating efforts.Assist with estimates for NYC residential remodeling projects, including takeoffs, scope reviews, and preparing field notes for pricing.Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, project managers, and vendors.Follow drawings, scopes of work, finish schedules, and detailed instructions with accuracy.Uphold DeJesus Industries’ standards for workmanship, professionalism, and structured work processes.Qualifications5–10 years of residential remodeling or finish carpentry experience.Demonstrated ability to deliver high-end finishes with precision and consistency.Strong understanding of interior renovation sequencing, trim carpentry, and finish craftsmanship.Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and specialty millwork installations.Willingness and ability to conduct client-facing site visits and participate in the estimating process.Ability to lift and transport tools/materials and navigate NYC job site conditions (brownstones, walk-ups, tight spaces).Reliable transportation required.A professional, unmarked work van or pickup truck with essential tools required.Strong communication skills, punctuality, respect for structure, and pride in craftsmanship.Ability to work independently while representing the company professionally.What We’re Looking ForA versatile craftsperson who can perform high-level field work and also assist with site evaluations and estimates.Someone dependable, polished, and experienced with NYC-style residential work.A team contributor who respects systems, communicates clearly, and works efficiently.A motivated professional excited about helping build our expanding New York operations.Call to ActionIf you are a skilled finish carpenter who thrives in high-end residential environments and is interested in supporting both field production and estimating for a growing NYC division, we invite you to apply.
