HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the CDL A Driver will be responsible for the delivery and pick up of commercial vehicles and/or automotive parts from various end users and locations. Driver will need to have a good work ethic, be a team player, level-headed, detail-oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual and professional. Must be flexible with hours. Typical runs are 1st shift however candidates must be available for change in delivery schedule if needed. Duties will also include general lot maintenance as directed by the Branch Manager.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS
- Ability to read and speak English as required by federal regulations.
- Familiarity with manual logbooks.
- Team-player with a strong work ethic; courteous, flexible, punctual and professional.
- Level-headed, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
Certifications:
- Valid and clean CDL Class A or B with no Air Brake Restriction.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position is primarily performed in a commercial vehicle while traveling to and from customer and company locations. The driver will be responsible for operating vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
- The position requires frequent sitting while driving, as well as regular standing, walking, climbing on and off equipment, and loading and unloading materials. Employees must be able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
- Work is performed year-round and may involve exposure to a variety of weather conditions and temperatures. Duties are conducted both on the road and outdoors and require the ability to work safely in changing environmental conditions.
