Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Associate to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for hanging , steaming , tagging , organizing inventory, and ensuring the accuracy of product displays. Your expertise will support efficient store operations, enhance visual merchandising, and contribute to a seamless shopping experience for customers. Duties
- Oversee inventory control processes, including stocking, replenishment, and stock rotation to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Assist with merchandising efforts of clothing distribution and organization
- Support store management in remodeling projects, interior design updates, and store layout improvements
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and coordinate with team members to resolve issues promptly
- Handle pricing adjustments, product labeling, and ensure compliance with branding standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product location and answering inquiries related to inventory
- Support training and development initiatives for new staff on inventory procedures and store operations
- Collaborate with sales teams to optimize merchandising strategies that drive retail sales and improve customer engagement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within storage areas to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising or managing inventory within retail or store environments
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Schematics, and other visual design tools is a plus
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques such as planograms and visual design principles
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse customer bases
- Experience with remodeling projects, interior design, or store management is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, cash handling, POS systems, and inventory management software
- Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for stock levels, pricing adjustments, and sales analysis
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative experience related to stock control documentation and reporting is desirable
