Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting.
- Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and identifying potential hazards to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or storm cleanup to maintain landscape accessibility year-round.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating various landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, plant identification, and pesticide management.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools.
- Experience with grounds maintenance equipment operation such as mowers, trimmers, and snow plows.
- Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments to ensure personal safety and compliance with regulations.
- Previous outdoor work experience demonstrating reliability in physically demanding conditions
- Be able to be on your feet for extended period of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
