Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate at Dehn's Flowers, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their floral needs. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality and service in the floral industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and gardening products that meet their needs.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash responsibly.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding plant care and product usage.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support team members in daily operations for example, processing flowers, cleaning cooler, cleaning buckets as well as other things.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or POS systems.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse customer base.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
