A minimum of 2 years of Refrigeration service experience is necessary for success in this position.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems including routine inspection of equipment such as compressors, condensers, electrical connections and motor operations
• Perform repairs on a wide variety of kitchen and refrigeration equipment such as walk-in freezers, refrigerators, ice machines, hermetic compressors & under counter reach-ins
• Carry out installation of new equipment; perform repairs on leaks; insure settings of wiring controls; and change out parts that have become old or defective
• Attend daily team meetings for continued training
• Manage service calls efficiently and complete all debriefs daily
• Complete all service calls to DeHart, Inc. standards by following purpose driven procedures
• Guarantee full customer satisfaction with services performed before vacating job site
• Participate in continued development of skills related to HVAC/R servicing and maintenance
• Uphold company image by maintaining a clean service vehicle and uniform

Required qualifications and skills:

• 2 years HVAC/R service experience in residential and/or commercial setting
• EPA Certification required
• NATE Certification recommended
• Understanding the operations of commercial refrigeration system, low temp. pressures, defrost and pressure controls
• Training and use of specialty tools and equipment required for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing
• Exceptional communication skills to educate customer on value of job and scope of work recommended
• Professionalism, positive attitude, and team player mindset
• Unbeatable customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work assigned hours and overtime as needed
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation within designated department
• Must be able to meet the physical demands required for this position, able to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.

• Must possess a clean driving record, criminal background, and ability to pass a drug test
