Degree Wellness is a modern wellness studio dedicated to helping people feel better, recover faster, and live healthier lives. Our services include infrared sauna, cryotherapy, red light therapy, compression massage, IV hydration, nutrient shots, and more.

We're looking for a creative, outgoing, and organized individual who loves social media, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to help grow our local wellness community.

About the Position

We're hiring a Part-Time Social Media Coordinator & Wellness Associate to help bring the Degree Wellness Middleton experience to life online while also supporting our clients in the studio.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys creating content, capturing great photos and videos, engaging with the community, and working directly with customers.

We currently partner with LocaliQ for Meta marketing, and you'll help expand those efforts by creating authentic local content, coordinating campaigns, and managing our social media presence using SOCi.

You'll also have the opportunity to attend local events, capture content, and showcase the people and partnerships that make Degree Wellness special.

What You'll Do

Social Media & Content Creation

• Create engaging content for Facebook and Instagram, including posts, Stories, Reels, photos, and short videos.
• Capture authentic content featuring our wellness services, team members, client experiences, promotions, and community partnerships.
• Use SOCi to schedule and manage social media content.
• Coordinate with our marketing partner, LocaliQ, to complement existing campaigns.
• Help develop a consistent and engaging local social media presence.
• Use Canva or similar design tools to create attractive marketing materials.

Google Business Profile & Online Engagement

• Manage Google Business Profile updates and content through SOCi.
• Share studio photos, promotions, and special events.
• Monitor Google reviews and help coordinate professional responses.
• Engage with followers, respond to general inquiries, and help direct potential clients toward booking appointments.

Events & Community Engagement

• Stop by or attend Degree Wellness events to capture photos, videos, and social media content.
• Create event highlights, Stories, and follow-up posts.
• Help promote community partnerships, special events, and local wellness initiatives.
• Be available for occasional evening or weekend events, with all event hours paid.

Wellness Associate Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and create an outstanding studio experience.
• Educate clients about our wellness services, memberships, and promotions.
• Assist with appointments, scheduling, and general studio operations.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional environment.
• Support our team's efforts to grow memberships and build lasting client relationships.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing Facebook and Instagram business accounts using Meta Business Suite.
• Experience creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content.
• Strong written communication skills and creativity.
• Comfortable taking photos, recording videos, and creating short-form social media content.
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Middleton and occasionally attend local events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Canva for social media graphics and marketing materials.
• Experience creating and editing Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
• Familiarity with SOCi or similar social media management platforms.
• Experience managing Google Business Profiles.
• Background in marketing, communications, social media, or content creation.
• Interest in health, fitness, wellness, and recovery services.

Training on Degree Wellness services, SOCi, and our studio procedures will be provided.

Schedule

• 10–15 hours per week, with a combination of social media responsibilities and in-studio Wellness Associate shifts.
• Flexible scheduling based on studio needs and planned marketing activities.
• Occasional evening and weekend event coverage.
