This is a full-time, hands-on role for someone who works independently, thrives on results, and leads with positivity. We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Studio Manager to support our studio during an exciting pre-opening phase. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, communication skills, and experience in retail, sales, or management.
A key focus of this position is driving grassroots pre-sale efforts while the studio is under construction. The ideal candidate is confident, outgoing, and comfortable with community outreach—with the ability to build relationships, generate interest, and secure memberships through local events, partnerships, and in-person engagement. This role offers significant earning potential during the pre-sale period, with top performers able to earn up to $20,000 in 3–4 months through performance-based incentives.
In addition to supporting daily operations, supervising staff, and delivering exceptional customer service, this role will play a critical part in growing our founding member base and establishing a strong presence in the community.
Duties:
- Achieve sales goals for memberships and wellness services using real-time dashboards
- Help recruit, train, and motivate the team and build a culture where everyone grows and wins.
- Ensure every guest/member feels welcomed, supported, and valued.
- Assist the General Manager when needed in overseeing daily operations: scheduling, staffing, and marketing.
- Career growth opportunity possibility – Future promotion to General Manager as business grows and other future site/locations become viable.
- Financial Incentives for achieving Pre-Sale goals and benchmarks by selling founding memberships, prior to studio being opened – by following a successful proven pre-sale playbook. (3 months prior to the Grand Opening – during construction) – Training provided.
- Lead by example, energizing the team and reinforcing our mission and values in every interaction.
Ideal Experience:
- 1 year of team management in retail, fitness, wellness, or medspa
- Strong sales record—hits targets, drives KPIs, and celebrates wins.
- Confident with POS/software (Mindbody or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Flexible for weekends/evenings.
- Relationship-builder with a solutions mindset.
