CNC Machinist - Night Shift

Shift

Alternating: Three 12-hour shifts per week

• Monday - Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:30am
• Thursday - Saturday 6:00pm - 6:30am
  
  

Position Summary

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating the CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate a variety of metal fabrication machines.
• Load and unload metal materials into the machines.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Verify tool dimensions using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, keeping track of inventory levels and assisting in inventory management as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Education And Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  

Experience

• 4 years of experience in a operating CNC machines.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a monthly bonus.
