Loan Officer Assistant — Defy Mortgage | Nashville, TN (Part-Time, Commission-Based)
We're Defy Mortgage — a Nashville-based Non-QM direct lender built for real estate investors and self-employed borrowers. We don't do conventional. We do the deals most lenders won't touch.
We're looking for a part-time Loan Officer Assistant who wants to get inside one of the fastest-growing segments of the mortgage industry and learn it from the ground up.
What you'll do:
- Support our loan officers and AEs through the pipeline — file management, status updates, borrower communication, and keeping deals moving
- Coordinate with processors, title, and borrowers to push loans to close
- Help manage our CRM and track deal flow
- Learn the Non-QM product suite — DSCR, bank statement, foreign national, and more
What we're looking for:
- Some mortgage experience helpful — loan officer assistant, processor, or loan officer background
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- Nashville-based or able to work Nashville hours
- Self-motivated — this is a commission-based role, so you're building alongside us
