POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) is responsible for procuring commercial satellite services through its two primary business divisions: Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) and Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS). Ensures continuous, reliable, and secure global connectivity for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, and international partners. These services underpin mission-critical operations, disaster recovery, and global mobility by providing comprehensive managed services and enhanced security measures, requiring uninterrupted support to continue effectively supporting warfighters worldwide.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strategic plans for the ESAG WCF
- Provide guidance on business system integration and implementation
- Prepare comprehensive WCF transition documents
- Draft and review reports and prepare briefings
- Assist ESAG to meet DoD and Congressional mandated timelines
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of financial management experience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment, or 5 years of experience and any of the following degrees/certifications
- Master's in business administration (MBA), Certified Defense Finance Manager (CDFM), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Proven ability to prepare comprehensive WCF transition documents detailing strategy, timelines, tasks, stakeholder engagement, and policy considerations
