POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) is responsible for procuring commercial satellite services through its two primary business divisions: Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) and Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS). Ensures continuous, reliable, and secure global connectivity for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, and international partners. These services underpin mission-critical operations, disaster recovery, and global mobility by providing comprehensive managed services and enhanced security measures, requiring uninterrupted support to continue effectively supporting warfighters worldwide.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed budgets for FMS program
- Analyze historical data and market trends to inform budget forecasts
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards
- Conduct periodic financial reviews
- Perform cost-benefit analyses
- Assist in preparing for audits and inspections by regulatory authorities
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses as requested by budget managers
- Utilize USSF financial systems to assist and/or process funding packages to include document creation and validation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of financial management experience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment, or 5 years of experience and any of the following degrees/certifications
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Certified Defense Finance Manager (CDFM), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Experience in accounting operations management desirable
