What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Development Specialist-Home Base position at DeFrancis Early Intervention Services?
Job Description:
* B.A. $35. AN HOUR
* pay per client completed
* House to house one hour sessions
- Plan activities specifically for each client that encourage parent involvement as well as high child participation
- Able to use Excel to complete session notes and collect electronic signatures on our software program Shift Care
- Provide feedback on a regular basis for Initial Evaluations, Quarterly Reports, Individual Program plans, and any other required reports.
- Drive from home to home to provide the services in the area assigned. (Palmdale, Lancaster, Acton, Lake L.A. through-out the A.V.)
Job Requirements:
- Ability to drive, access to a registered car, a valid driver's license, and valid auto insurance.
- Ability to adapt to different family environments as the job requires, making sessions at the family's home.
- Understand deeper-level child development connections in developmental domains to create activities to enhance or promote a child's skills and to educate the parents' knowledge.
- Good communication, time management, good attitude, friendly, clean cut, able to connect with families Socially Emotionally and organizational skills.
- Bilingual Spanish would be nice/ English required.
- At least 23 years of age.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- US work authorization is a must.
- Experience driving home-to-home and working with different family environments is preferred. (Reliable Car)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
