Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Roofing Supervisor to lead and oversee roofing projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will coordinate on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Qualifications – Roofing Supervisor (2 Positions Available)
- Active MA & NH Contractor License (required)
- 5 years of hands-on experience installing and supervising asphalt shingle, rubber (EPDM/TPO), and standing seam metal roofing systems
- Proven ability to manage roofing projects from tear-off to completion
- Strong knowledge of roofing components including flashing, ventilation, underlayment, and waterproofing systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and manufacturer specifications
- Experience supervising crews and coordinating subcontractors
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance
Preferred / Plus Experience
- Experience with additional systems (slate, cedar shake, low-slope commercial roofing, coatings, etc.)
- Background in siding, gutters, or full exterior remodeling
- Experience with estimating, scheduling, or project management software
- Manufacturer certifications (GAF, CertainTeed, Firestone, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Leadership & Work Skills
- Strong leadership and crew management abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and workmanship
- Ability to troubleshoot roofing issues and solve problems on-site
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with crews, management, and customers
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical job site tasks as needed
