Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise technology initiatives within a large and complex organizational environment. This role will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to define requirements, document business processes, support system implementations, and ensure successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement skills, with extensive experience supporting enterprise applications, databases, and large-scale technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Produce and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, traceability matrices, and testing documentation.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
- Support solution design efforts by translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Coordinate communication among business stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Participate in project planning, status meetings, and implementation activities.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Validate application functionality, reports, dashboards, and data integrity.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, reviewed, and approved.
- Assist with risk identification, issue resolution, and contingency planning.
- Support multiple concurrent projects within a program or portfolio environment.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and collaborative project activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with Oracle and SQL-based systems.
- Minimum 7 years of experience producing technical documentation, including:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Specifications
- Traceability Matrices
- Design Documentation
- Test Documentation
- Minimum 7 years of experience facilitating business and technical meetings.
- Minimum 7 years of experience supporting application testing, reporting validation, dashboard testing, and large data-set analysis.
- Minimum 7 years of experience developing meeting documentation, business analyses, and training materials.
- Minimum 2 years of web application development experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Studio .NET.
