Database Analyst

Introduction

We are seeking a Database Analyst to develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), support database operations, and deliver actionable insights through data analysis and reporting. This role includes database migrations, replication support, SQL distributor maintenance, hardware upgrades, and Power BI report development across multiple platforms and computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain KPIs and operational metrics.

• Generate reports and configure alerts to support system monitoring.

• Perform database migrations and deploy vendor-provided builds.

• Support hardware replacements and maintain SQL distributors.

• Troubleshoot and support database replication.

• Coordinate with monitoring and technical teams to oversee third-party patching activities.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis and develop Power BI reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• At least five years of IT experience involving database administration, SQL procedural programming, and database design.

• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with business process analysis and data analysis.

• Knowledge of computer hardware and database administration.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Oracle replication.

• Experience with reporting tools and database migrations.
