The Greet Team Member is the first point of contact for members, potential members, vendors and anyone entering or calling the facility. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Greeting all members and guests in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner.
- Verify membership status and respond accordingly to questions, concerns, etc.
- Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals.
- Answer and/or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
- Conduct periodic club walks to ensure a clean and safe facility.
- Accurately process money transactions.
- Place calls to prospective members regarding new promotions.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace at all times.
- Communicate all club concerns and member inquiries to management daily.
- Provide tours for prospective members.
Shift Differential – Opening Shift:
Team Members assigned to opening shifts may qualify for a shift differential plus incentives based on reliability and commitment to early-morning availability. To maintain eligibility, team members must be scheduled for a minimum of four (4) opening shifts per week based on assigned schedule template (covering shifts does not count toward the required four (4) opening shifts).
Compensation
- Opening Shift Differential Rate: $14.00 per hour
Monthly Bonus:
Bonus amount: $100
Team Members assigned to an opening shift schedule template may earn a monthly bonus contingent on the following criteria:
- No more than two (2) call-ins within any given month.
- Must arrive on time all scheduled shifts, ensuring that the club opens at its scheduled time every morning.
*Failure to meet the above criteria will result in forfeiting the monthly bonus for that month.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented position
- Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience
- Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products, such as ABC and QuickBooks.
- Must obtain and maintain valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment.
- Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write.
