Role Description
This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for Assisting with DSCU website management policies and preparing feasibility studies to develop or modify organizational programs. Additionally, this role involves developing and refining application software while evaluating commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) systems to ensure they meet functional requirements.
Duties
As a IT SPECIALIST some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Serve as a senior IT specialist, designs, develops, maintains, and enhances applications software.
- Maintain the website and provides documentation for the organization.
- Contribute to designing and assisting with the implementation of layouts, graphics and user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and other digital services in alignment with the federal and agency standards and principles.
- Prepare feasibility studies and analyses as required to develop or modifies individual programs.
- Analyzes and develops/refines applications software for the organization.
- Develop or modifies existing program layouts, interrelationships, sequences, and internal logic for the organization.
- Develop design alternatives to ensure the objectives of the acquisition strategy, reduced life cycle cost, and high level of quality are achieved.
