Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Reviews administrative operations, recommending changes to improve productivity and increase efficiency. Provides administrative support in the development, implementation and maintenance of plans, programs, policy guidance, and procedures relating to the functions of the organization. Ensures coordination of all personnel actions within the depot, keeping supervisors informed. Maintains calendars, time and attendance reports, and leave schedules. B. Education: To qualify at the GS-09 level based on education in lieu of specialized experience, applicants must possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. - Provides administrative and operational support to the Commander, Deputy and staff.
- Conducts studies involving collecting and analyzing data, evaluating and recommending improvements to management on ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
- Prepares narrative analyses, graphs, charts, and management statistics of data for use in briefings and presentations.
- Serves as Depot Liaison for human resources (personnel), ensuring DLA personnel policies are followed.
- Serves as Site Training Coordinator, assisting primary site Defense Travel Administrator in monitoring and usage of system and training users.
